Our Story
Oasis On The Shore began with a single oceanfront cottage lovingly built on Wildflower Lane. What started as a quiet family getaway overlooking Amets Sound, grew into a heartfelt vision: a place where others could experience the same sense of calm, clarity, and deep breathing that the coastline naturally offers.
Over the years, this vision expanded into a collection of cottages and meaningful coastal experiences. Each offering is grounded in the belief that nature heals, rest matters, and simple, quiet moments—sunrise coffees, warm sunsets, seals in the distance—can change how we feel in our bodies and our lives.
Meet the Founder
Marie Aisthorpe, the founder and heart behind Oasis On The Shore, is passionate about creating spaces that feel peaceful, intentional, and deeply connected to nature. Guided by her love for hospitality and mental wellness, Marie has spent years shaping Wildflower into a coastal sanctuary where guests feel welcomed, supported, and free to truly unwind.
Her approach is warm, personal, and rooted in her deep appreciation for the North Shore’s beauty, heritage, and quiet magic.
